The park is on the Payette River and caters to kayakers of varying skill levels, offering a range of rapids. In addition to kayaking, you can try stand-up paddleboarding or tubing on the parks features.
Whether or not your into playing in the river KWP is a great spot to visit and watch the impressive skills of kayakers navigating the rapids.

Fisher’s Pond

Most People Don’t Know… Since the late 90s, the advanced biology class at Cascade High School has taken the initiative to adopt and enhance the local pond in collaboration with the community. Through their dedicated efforts, they have undertaken numerous projects aimed at improving the overall environment of the park.

The Crown Point Trail is a relatively easy 6 mile out and back rail trail that is great for walking, trail running, or exploring on bike. The trail runs along a flat grade and follows the southeast shoreline of Lake Cascade.
Along the trail you can catch glimpses of the lake and you’ll even find trails leading down for you to access the lake.

Hot Springs In Cascade

The hotsprings is easily accessed by a short walk down a steep path, and no there is no fee for soaking in the hot springs.
To reach Trail Creek Hot Springs, take Warm Lake Road (NF-22), located just east of Cascade. From Cascade, it’s approximately a 40-minute drive east on Hwy 55 to reach this well-known destination.
If you’re coming from McCall, the drive is 50 miles and takes about 1 hour. From Boise, expect a drive of approximately 98 miles, taking around 2 hours and 10 minutes.
