Our Idaho hot springs are under attack. As the number of visitors have increased so has the TRASH. Hot springs are getting shut down every year so please make it a point to not only pick up the big trash but micro trash as well. If we all do our part we can keep this natural wonders accessible.
The roughly 5 mile trail takes you along a gradual incline with plenty of scenic views along the way. There aren’t any signs for the hot springs so a GPS is recommended. At both forks in the trail you’ll want to keep right.
You’ll also have a river crossing about 1/2 mile before the springs. There’s no bridge so during high-water in the springtime this could be a technical crossing.
There’s plenty of great camping near the springs to pitch a tent and a night time soak under the stars is magical.
